Playlure ("Playlure: Presell Games") is a Shopify app operated by Blackout Media, a company established in Brazil ("we"). These terms apply to the store that installs it ("you"). Installing or using the app means you accept them. Your use of Shopify itself stays under your agreement with Shopify.

What the app does

Playlure creates pages on your online store that show a mini-game: a prize wheel, scratch card, balloon pop, tap-the-targets or pick-a-racer, in your branding and words. Each player gets a reward from the prize table you set, at the odds you set. Rewards are Shopify discount codes the app creates for you or codes you already have, applied when the player claims them. The app counts views, plays, wins and claims for each game, reads how often each code has been used, and publishes custom customer events for your pixels.

The app changes your store only when you ask it to: it creates and updates the game pages, their settings, and the discount codes in your prize table. It does not edit your theme; you add the game block in Shopify's theme editor.

Your promotions

You are the advertiser and the promoter. You decide the games, the rewards, the odds, the wording on every screen, any timer, and where your ads send people. You are responsible for making them lawful where you sell, including the rules on prize promotions, games of chance, reward wording ("you won"), countdown timers and advertising, and the rules of the ad platforms you use. The app's defaults and notes are not legal advice.

Every discount code the app creates is an ordinary Shopify discount in your store. Its value, limits, end date and combinations are set by you, and Shopify applies it at checkout. Codes shown on a public page can be shared beyond your players.

Counts and figures

Views, plays, wins and claims are counted from the game page and can be affected by ad blockers, bots or a shopper's browser. Orders per reward come from each code's usage count in Shopify, which counts every use of the code, not only those that came through a game. They are a guide, not an attribution model.

Price

Playlure is free. If we introduce paid plans, we will say so in the app before anything is charged, any charge will go through Shopify's billing, and you will have to approve it there.

Your data

The games, copy, images and settings you create are yours. You give us permission to store and process them, and what the app reads from your store, to run the app for you, and for nothing else. What we collect and how long we keep it is in the privacy policy.

What you are responsible for

• Your promotions, rewards and discount settings, as above.
• Having the rights to the logos, images and fonts you upload.
• Who has access to your Shopify admin, and so to the app.
• Using the app lawfully, and not trying to disrupt it, inflate its counts or reach another store's data.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available and correct, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features.

Ending

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin; your data is then deleted as the privacy policy describes. The pages and discount codes stay in your store until you delete them. We may suspend a store that breaks these terms.

No warranty

The app is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, discounts redeemed, or indirect losses arising from the use of the app, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.

Changes to these terms
